Artist Resumé

Lindy Gruger Hanson was raised in Seattle, Washington. She graduated with a BFA in Fine Art from Washington State University in 1981. Lindy moved to Bend, Oregon in March of 2003 after spending time living and working in Seattle, New York City and Portland, Oregon.

Also, it can get a bit confusing: you can find her artwork under the name Linda Gruger as well as Lindy Hanson. Hanson is her married name. Lindy's husband passed away in 2005. She signs her work L. Gruger and it can be found listed under Lindy Gruger Hanson.
