HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
1. Contact me at lindy@lgruger.com or 541-362-3409 and let me know what you'd like to commission as custom art. If there is another painting on my website that you like and would like something similar, let me know. If there are certain colors you like over others, let me know that too. I will be happy to discuss with you what you are looking for.

2. We discuss size, price and whether you would like it on paper, wood or canvas. Commissions cost a little more than my other paintings but this is because they take more time and are custom made just for you! We also discuss framing. You can request a custom piece be unframed or framed. We also discuss shipping if you don't live nearby for me to hand deliver it.

3. Next, I paint. I will send you a preliminary sketch first, to ensure that you're happy with what I think you are envisioning. I can make revisions if you want to see something else. I aim for 100% satisfaction with your commission. I want you to be happy and I'm open to your suggestions! Then I will send you a photo when it's halfway completed, and again when it's finished. If you want it all to be a surprise, that works too.

Once it's approved by you, I will have your special painting packaged very carefully and shipped to you!

Shipping

Shipping costs are paid for by the buyer and I will put the price into the final invoice. I will have to have your payment, by Paypal which takes credit cards, or good old fashioned check or money order, before I mail the painting. I will wait for your check to clear, before I ship it off to you. Insuring the painting is highly recommended as well.

If you would like to save on shipping costs, I recommend that it be shipped unframed, and you take it to your local framer to be framed. This way, the package is lighter, and you pay less for shipping! But, if you would rather your custom art be framed, that is okay too!
